Welcome to the Kihikihi sensor network
Kihikihi is a wireless sensor network project developing a low cost open source platform for arts, education and experimentation with internet enabled sensor networks.
We are using off the shelf wireless mesh access points running openwrt from open-mesh.com, picaxe microcontrollers and short range rf modules to create networks of low power sensors that connect to the internet through a wireless mesh network.
We have a group of nodes connected with a variety of different sensors already and a number of projects in development.
